Shell (Miller), age 95, of North Tonawanda, December 22, 2013 in DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility. Thelma volunteered as a Senior Companion at DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility for over 28 years. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. She was the wife of the late Gordon Shell. Beloved mother of Sharon (Tom) Henderson and Gail (Peter) Wolf, both of Tonawanda, and Nancy Miller. Grandmother of Thomas (Cindy) Henderson III, Daniel (Kathie) Wolf, Chana (Mike) Brennon, Tammy Huttenmaier, Beth (Fran) Glair and James (Aimee) Wolf. Great-grandmother of 12 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Mervin and Milton Haseley and Delores Schuler; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda on Friday from 3-7 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM from St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda. The Karl Haeussler will officiate.
