- James E. Cronkhite passed away September 14, 2020 surrounded by family in the care of Niagara Hospice. Born December 19, 1934, he was a DeSales Catholic High School graduate Class of 1953 and served in the Army from 1955-1957.
James's biggest hobby was his family, and also hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing, and traveling. A proud member of the Niagara Rod & Gun Club, American Legion, and retired UAW 686 of 42 years at Harrison Radiator Division of GM.
James was predeceased by his first wife, Carol Cronkhite; sons, James M. and Kevin S.; and granddaughter, Lindsay.
James is survived by his wife of 30 years, Glenda J. Cronkhite; father of Linda (Deneee) Wagner, David (Jennifer) Cronkhite, Annette (William) Centofanti-Camp, and Deborah Centofanti; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Ashley, Jonathan, Jamey, Corey, Joshua, Kelsey, Audry, Karah, Shelby, Aiden; and nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Janice (Tom) Jolls, and Judy (Gene) Coumont; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, September 16th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
