- Gary Douglas Urtel Obituary
Gary D. Urtel of Lockport, NY, entered into rest on February 7, 2026. He was the son of the late Walter and Letitia (Bluhm) Urtel. Gary worked for General Motors, Harrison Radiator, for 35 years. He coached Gasport Little League for 10 years and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
Gary is survived by his wife of 61 years, Diane; his two children, Wendy (Gary) Garman and Mark (Heather) Urtel; his cherished grandchildren, Adell Urtel and Owen Urtel; his brother, Keith (Lynn) Urtel and sister-in-law, Dolores Jurbala. He is also survived by cousins, several beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and grandpets.
