- Shirley O'Donnell, of Niagara Falls, NY, peacefully entered into rest on Friday, March 27, 2015, in her home. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 20, 1937, the daughter of the late Peter G. and Jessie May (Bolger) Blundy.
Mrs. O'Donnell graduated from St. Mary's High School and was an accounts receivable clerk with Occidental Chemical Co. for many years, before retiring. She enjoyed taking care of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.
Mrs. O'Donnell was the wife of the late John J. O'Donnell, who died in November of 1996. She is survived by one brother Gerald Blundy, two sisters Irene (late Rod) Giles and Mildred (Lee) Pasquinelli, her caring brother-in-law James Cody, many nieces, nephews and several wonderful aides that were like family to her. She was the sister of the late Peter Blundy, Margaret Markle, Ruth Poulos and Thelma Maloney.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 12:00 PM at St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 259 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls, NY, with the Rev. Jacek P. Mazur officiating.
Memorials may be made in her name to St. Mary of the Cataract Church or to Complete Senior Care.
Internment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
