  Born in Watseka on June 27, 1950, she was the daughter of Opal Mahaffey and George Geisler. Karen grew up in Gilman and lived in Loda for the past 26 years. Her first marriage was to Walter Hoy. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Scott and Shawn Hoy. Survivors include Karen's husband, Ronald Dudley, a daughter, Angela (Hoy) Isaacs (Bruce);sisters,Linda & Diane, a nephew she raised, James Mahaffey(Paula) and step-children, Penny Cermak (Mark), Alan Dudley(Kari), and Vicki Dudley. Also surviving are grandchildren Brittani Stalter (Adam Shoufler); Brandi Stalter, Savannah & William Isaacs; Peyton, Braydon & Carson Dudley; Eve Cermak; step-grandchildren, Amanda, Adam and Ashley Isaacs; great grandson, Harley Shoufler. Visitation will be held at Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman on Sunday, November 9, 2008 from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. with a Celebration of Life service following, with Rev. Steve Anderson officiating.
