BOBZIEN - Bertha M. of 3739
Day Rd., Lockport, NY., wife
of the late Fred Bobzien, entered
into rest Thursday, April 23,
1970, at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Fletcher (Mabel) Wilson
of the same address. Also
survived by four sons, Arthur
of Oregon, Howard and Norman
of Lockport and Lawrence Bobzien
of Olcott; sister of Mrs.
Anna Niethe of North Tonawanda;
step-sister of Mrs. John Bates
of Niagara Falls, N.Y. and
Albert Mehls of North Tonawanda;
also survived by seven
grandchildren, nine great
grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews. Friends may
call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral
Home Inc., 2670 Main St.,
Newfane, beginning at 2 p.m.
today. Funeral services will be
held Saturday, April 26, 1970,
at 3 p.m. Burial will be in
Corwin Cemetery

Mrs. Bertha M. Bobzien, 91,
of 3739 Day Road, Lockport,
died Thursday at her home. She
had resided with t a daughter,
Mrs. Fletcher (Mabel) Wilson of
that address since 1962.
A native of Germany, Mrs.
Bobzien was born April 14,
1879. She came to the United
States as a child and lived most
of her life in the Town of Newfane.
Her husband, Fred Bobzien,
died in 1951.
Besides her daughter, she is
survived by four sons, Arthur of
Oregon, Howard and Norman of
Lockport and Lawrence of Olcott.
She is also survived by a sister,
Mrs. Anna Niethe of North
Tonawanda, a step-sister, Mrs.
Anna Niethe of North Tonawanda,
a step - sister, Mrs. John
Bates of Niagara Falls and a
step - brother, Albert Mehls
of North Tonawanda, seven
grandchildren, nine great
grandchildren and several nte
ces and nephews.
Friends may call beginning at
2 p.m. today at the Rutland-
Corwin Funeral Home, 2670
Main St., Newfane*
Funeral services will be held
at 3 p.m. tomorrow with the
Rev. Harry R. Lee, pastor of
Olcott United Methodist Church,
officiating.
Burial will be in Corwin Cem.
etery.
