  June 10, 2014 David W. Dohring, Sr. Lockport Union-Sun & Journal LOCKPORT - David W. Dohring, Sr. passed away on June 5, 2014 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born in Lockport on August 7, 1937, he was the son of Walter and Evelyn (Boddy) Dohring. David served in the US Air Force from 1955 to 1959. He worked as an iron worker with the Iron Workers Union Local 9 in Niagara Falls. David was also a member of the Redman Club, Navy/Marine Club and the Moose Club. He is survived by his children, David Dohring, Jr., Ann (Roy) Scinta, both of Lockport, and Cheryl (Vince) Gomez of Abilene, TX; grandfather of Michael Gomez, Christopher (Kelly) Gomez, Samantha Gomez, and Mike (Michelle Ingalsbe) Scinta; great-grandfather of Khodee and Kholten; brother of Sally Rosendall of California; dear friend of the late Luella Norman.
