  Holly NY Standard - 3/27/1902 Nicholas Bodkin, a worthy and lifelong citizen of Holley, died at the residence of his mother Friday evening, March 21, after a lingering illness. Mr. Bodkin was 42 years of age, and leaves to mourn his loss a wife and six children; also a mother; two brothers and two sisters, Charles H. Bodkin, of New York City; Christo- pher Bodkin, of Ava, N. Y,; Mrs. Wm O'Brien and Mrs. T, F. Fitzgerald, of Holley, Mr. Bodkin was buried from St. Mary's Catholic church of this village, of which he was a member, the pastor, Rev. Father Noonan, officiating.
