  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 9/12/1935 Herman Boehnke, 69 years old, died this morning at his home, 23 Maple street. Born in Germany, he had resided in Tonawanda for the last 44 years. He was a member of the Salem Evangelical church. Sur- viving are a wife, Johanna; five sons Charles, Otto, Walter and Bernardt, Tonawanda, and Henry, Detroit; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Bush, Detroit, and Mrs. Robert Sparks, Tonawanda, and 12 grand- children. Funeral will be held Sat- urday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the residence. Rev. Walter F. Hetzel will officiate Burial will be in Salem cemetery.
