  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 7/10/1933 NIAGARA FALLS, July 10-Services for John George Traub, 55, of 705 Ashland avenue, were held today in the family home and in Zion Lutheran church, Michigan avenue and Tenth street. Burial was In Riverdale cemetery. Mr. Traub died, Friday night after a long illness. He conducted a meat market here 301 years, retiring three years ago. Recently he was caretaker of the Zion Lutheran church. He was born in Lockport. Surviving are his wife. Mrs. Pauline Traub; four sons, George F., Carl W., Edward H. and Frank; his daughter, Hazel P., and his mother, Mrs. George Traub, all of this city, and a brother, Fred Traub, Lockport.
