- FYVIE, Jr. - Robert J. November 12, 2015, age 81; beloved husband of 57 years to Judith A. (nee Bolton) Fyvie; devoted father of Kathleen (Scott) Pieri, Shelley Beck, Timothy (Cara), and Jeffrey (Michele); loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; dear brother of William (Susan) Fyvie and the late Grace "Skip" Wood; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be present on Sunday from 1-5 PM at the (Tonawanda Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2600 Sheridan Dr. (at Parker Blvd.), where a Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday at 12 pm, noon. Friends invited. Interment to be held privately by the family. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, memorials may be made in Mr. Fyvie's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project. Robert was a Retired United States Army Master Sergeant and worked for the General Motors Acceptance Corp. for over 30 years. He was a dedicated family man and enjoyed sports including his favorite teams the New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills. He was also a professional football player for the Baltimore Colts in the AFL.
