William G. Volk, 73. of 237 Timon
St.. a printing pressman for 50 years,
died suddenly yesterday at Buffalo
General Hospital.
Mr. Volk was born in Buffalo May
2. 1873. and attended School 39
For the last 12 years he had been
employed by the H. William Pollock
Poster Print Co. Previously he had
worked for sthe Kenworthy Co.. 45
North Division St.
A member of Grace Lutheran
Church. Carlton and Rose. Mr. Volk
was a member of Parish Lodge 292,
F&AM. Zuleika Grotto and Benovo-
lent Lodge 596. Independent Order of
Odd Fellovts. He also held member-
ship in Local 27. Pressmen's Union.
A Masonic service will be held at
8 o'clock tomorrow evening at the
Henry Wedekindt A Sons Funeral
Home, 326 High St.
Surviving are his wife, the former
Emma M. Bomm and three sisters,
Carrie Volk. Mrs. Ralph Bartholo-
mew and Mrs. Charles Redlech.
Funeral services will be held at 2
p. m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Ceme-
ery.
