  Niagara Gazette - 6/17/1950 An employe of the Carborundum company for the last 36 years, Frank J. Bonsteel, 57, of 8218 Munson ave- nue, died yesterday in Mt. St. Mary's hospital after a long illness. A native of this city, he lived in Newfane for several years and had resided in Niagara Falls for the last 37 years. For many years he was in charge of the commercial photog raphy department at the Carborundum company and for the last few years was In the clerical department because of poor health. He is survived by his wife. Emily A., and one daughter. Marjorie A. Bonsteel. both of this city, and one brother, Merton D. Bonsteel, Gallon. Ohio. The Rev. H. Victor Kane, First Baptist church, will officiate at funeral services at 2 p. m. Monday at the Bell Funeral chapel. Interment will be in Corwln cemetery'. Newfane.
