 Friday afternoon William G. Boots
 who resides east of Fancher committed
 suicide at his home. For some time he
 has been brooding over his financial
 troubles and has been constantly under
 watch. Friday afternoon his wife
 went out to'call on a neighbor. Upon
 her return her husband was missing
 and upon going upstairs she found lying
 on t h e floor with a 22 calibre rifle
 by his side and a bullet wound near bis
 heart. He lived only a short time. Mr.
 Boots was 39 years of age. He was
 born in Riga, Monroe county, and had
 spent most of his life in Clarendon,
 with the exception of a few years that
 he lived in Pennsylvania,
 He is survived by his widow, his
 brother, Charles of Erie, Pa., and one
 sister. The funeral was held Sunday
 afternoon, Rev. Sands officiating. Burial
 at Mt. Albion.
