  Bertha M. Riggle Of Middleport, wife of the late Lawrence A. Riggle Sr. entered into rest on Tuesday August 4, 2015 at home. She was born in Newfane, NY on July 30, 1940. Daughter of the late Les and Lydia Boots Muir. Bertha retired from BernzOmatic as a fire tester. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and First Universal Church in Middleport. Bertha enjoyed helping out the community, playing bingo and spending time with her family. Mother of Lawrence A. (Sarah Few) Riggle Jr. of Gasport, NY, Bob (Ann) Riggle of Medina, NY, Joyce Berkqual of Florida and the late Laura Riggle. Brother of Les Muir, Eason (Debbie) Muir, Mabel (Bob) Moore and the late Charles Muir, Josephine Burkette and Betty Raczkiewicz. Grandmother of Aaron (Rosa) Lang, Lawrence A. (Amanda) Riggle III, Angela (Steve) Quay and Paul (Jessica) Lester. Great Grandmother of Mason, Lawson, Carmella, Layla, Andrew and Callie. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held on SATRUDAY August 8, 2015 at Bertha’s home, 4088 Peet St. Middleport, NY 14105 at 4PM. Burial will be held in Wrights Corners Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
