- MERITT - Marvin H. Of North Tonawanda, Friday, June 28, 2019, at the age of 85, beloved husband of the late Carol S. (Draper) Meritt; dearest father of Linda Broecker, Michael (Karen) Meritt, Barbara Robins and the late John Meritt; proud and loving grandfather of Christopher (Monica), Heather (Tim), Amanda, Danielle (Tom) and Harley and nine great-grandchildren; dear brother of Mancil "Bob" (Cis) Meritt and the late Von Meritt; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family will be present to greet relatives and friends TUESDAY, July 2, from 4-8 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, (692-0271). Family and friends are asked to gather at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 3921 Mapleton Rd., North Tonawanda for funeral services Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. Marvin was a Journeyman Millwright and a volunteer for many organizations. Flowers graciously declined. Memorial gifts may be made in Marvin's honor to the North Tonawanda Meals-on-Wheels or the North Tonawanda Food Pantry.
