The marriage of Miss Esther
Louise Hoffman, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Christian Hoffman of
Glen wood Avenue, to Alfred Julius
Schillke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph
Schillke, took place Friday afternoon,
October 21st, at 5.30 o'clock, at
Concordia Lutheran Church, the
Rev. Herbert Bosch officiating. The
bride, who was given in marriage by
her father, wore a gown of ivory
crepe with train, and a veil of tulle
bordered with lace. She carried
white chrysanthemums and pine
boughs.
Miss Ruth Hoffman, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor and wore
orange crepe with brown velvet
veiled turban, and carried orange
chrysanthemums. Miss Gertrude
Schlllke, sister of the groom, was
bridesmaid and wore yellow crdpe
with brown veiled turban, and carried
yellow chrysantmemums. The
bride's mother wore Burgandy red
velvet wBh matching hat. The bridegroom's
pother was gowned in black
lace.
Hans Oldag was best man and
Christian C. Hoffman usher.

families M followed at the bride's
home. Ml. and Mrs. Schillke, who
are t o u A g the New England coast,
will be « h o m e after December 1st
at 23 Hobmoor Avenue.
