Irven J. Doller Sr., 77, retired
Board of Education employe,
died Sunday morning in Deaconess
Hospital after a long illness.
He lived at 46 Kermit Ave.
A bricklayer for 50 years,
Mr. Doller worked at that trade
for 35 years for the Board of
Education before retiring 10
years ago. He worked on the
Electric BuUding built by the
old Buffalo General Electric
Co.
A 50-year member of Local
45, Bricklayers, Masons and
Plasterers International Union,
AFL-CIO, he also belonged to
Modestia Lodge 340, F&AM.
Formerly active in the Little
Mayors Assn. of Erie County,
Mr. DoUer for years was Little
Mayor of the Bailey-Delavan
District before relinquishing his
membership in the association
when he retired from work.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Lena Boskat; five sons,
Irven J. Jr., Cheektowaga, Elmer
E., West Seneca, Robert
H.. Philadelphia, Henry W.,
Kenmore, and Kenneth M. Doller,
Hamburg; a sister, Mrs.
Freda Fink, San Diego, Calif.,
and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30
Wednesday afternoon in the Dietrich
Funeral Home, 2528 Bailey
Ave. Burial will be in Acacia
Park Cemetery, Town of Pendle-
ton, Niagara County.
