BRADENTON, FL - Jane A. LaValley passed away in Bradenton, FL on April 5, 2014, after a long illness. Born on December 11, 1943 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Ralph and Mary (Dearlove) Thurnherr of Niagara Falls. Jane graduated in 1962 from LaSalle High School in Niagara Falls, and was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Jane was the loving wife of her husband and high school sweetheart, Lee N. LaValley. They were married for 50 years, and currently resided in Bradenton, FL.
She is survived by her husband, Lee N. LaValley; two daughters, Tammy (Kevin) Hayes of Webster, NY and Coreen (Scott) Klein of Bradenton, FL; five grandchildren, Joseph Hayes, Matthew Hayes, Caitlyn Klein, Joshua Klein and Johnathan Klein; a sister, Nancy (Paul) Schroeder of Louisville, KY; a brother, Ralph Thurnherr and Nancy of Batavia, NY; and many nieces and nephews.
Jane was an office manager at Supermarket Liquors and Wines, and had also worked in banking. Jane enjoyed spending time with her family, and was very accomplished at crewel embroidery.
