Gordon L. Boughner, 60, of
1803 Pierce Ave., who started
the Boughner Gift and Card
Shop at that address, died
in Memorial Hospital today
(Feb. 7, 1963). He was stricken
at his home at 4 a.m.
Born in Waterford, Ont,
Mr. Boughner was educated
in Waterford schools and at-
-tended the University of Buf-
He began employment with;
the Niagara Mohawk Power
Corp. m 1921 and was a member
of the NMP 25-Year Club
and N'MP Supervisors Club
of Niagara Falls.
He also was a member of
the Square and compass Club
of Buffalo Niagara Commandery
No. 64, Knights Templar,
Masonic Lodge; Niagara Frontier
Lodge No. 132 and Royal
Arch Masons No. 200. He was
a member of St. Peter's Epis-
copal Church.
Mr. Boughner started his
gift end card store in 1951.
Surviving are his widow
Mrs. Lenora Boughner; a
daughter, Mrs. Robert Scar-
brough, Santa Fe Sprin
Calif,; two sons, Robert
Boughner, LaPuntea, 'Calif.,,
and G. Leslie Boughner, this
city, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be
held at Cobler's Funeral
Home Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
and at St Peter's Episcopal
Church at 2 p,m. Place of interment
is to be announced.
The family said that dona-'
tions to the St. Peter's Episcopal
Church Memorial Fund
will be acceptable as tributes.
