- Dawn Eileen Fiedler (Wagner), age 66, formerly of Boylston, NY, passed away April 1st in Florida. She had resided in Florida since 2009. Dawn was born July 16, 1950, the daughter of Jack and Barbara Pittman Wagner.
She graduated from Barker High School in 1968 where she played bass clarinet and was selected for All State Band. Dawn also graduated from Albany Memorial School of Nursing in 1971. Dawn married Richard G. Fiedler on February 15, 1975. She was employed as a Registered Nurse for Hospice of CNY, retiring in 2007. Dawn was a member of the Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski and she coached Sandy Creek Little League Softball. She volunteered at NOCA for many years and was a paramedic and Director of Operations. Dawn enjoyed camping, bowling, golf and her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Richard; three daughters, Amy (John) Horack of Adams Center, Kimberly (Seth) Prater of Dayton, OH, and Michele (Michael) Zimmermann of Redfield; four brothers, David Wagner of Washington, Jeffrey Wagner of Medina, NY, Jack Wagner of New Hampshire, and Lawrence Wagner of Clarence, NY; five grandchildren, Carter, Madison, Benjamin, Henry and Harrison; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, April 15th at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the funeral. This fund will be used to give a scholarship to a deserving Oswego County BOCES nursing student who is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Nursing.
