Carol R. (Bovanizer) Costantino, lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024. She was 74. She was born in Niagara Falls on December 23, 1949, a daughter of the late Robert R. and Marjorie J. (Forbes) Bovanizer. Carol attended local schools and graduated from LaSalle Senior High School and then Buffalo State University.
Carol worked for Marine Midland Bank (later HSBC) for 35 years as a teller at several area branch’s before transferring to the main location in Buffalo where she worked as a clerk / typist until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of Bacon Memorial Church where she was an Elder and Clerk of the Deacons. She and her sister, Nancy were volunteers for the Girl Scouts of Western New York for 55 years.
She is survived by her sister Nancy Stoianoff and two nephews: Robert (Meghan) Harmon and Paul (Samantha) Harmon and her niece Kimberly Stoianoff. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews: Lia (Phil) Violanti, Livia Harmon, Bobby Harmon, Tyler Harmon, Tommy Mulholland, Rylie Harmon, Emily Mulholland and Alexa Harmon.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Bacon Memorial Church, 166 59th Street, Niagara Falls, New York 14304. Burial will be private in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery in Lewiston.
