  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 3/4/1931 BARKER, March 4-Linus Bowen, 78, Cannon road farmer, passed away Sunday after a brief Illness, from erysipelas. He was able to attend to his farm work the preceding Wednesday. The funeral was held this afternoon at the late home, with the Rev. Ernest F. Scott, pastor of the Somerset and County Line Methodist Episcopal churches officiating. Burial was at West Rldgeway. He Is survived by his wife, one son, and three daughters, John Bowen, Barker; Mrs, Lily Copping, Castile; Mrs. Edna. Letts. Medina; Mrs. Bessie Corser. western Canada; Ave sisters, Mrs. W. D. Smith, Mrs. Elma Bruce, Mrs. Hattie Pierce, Barker; Mrs. Delia Mudge, Jamestown; Mrs. Floyd Cooper, Lyndonville; also eleven grandchildren.
