 He was born August 16,
 1918 in, Randolph, a son of
 Charles and Alice Hall
 Bowen.
 Mr, Bowen was a member
 of Grace Episcopal Church,
 Randolph, A U.S. Army
 veteran of World War II he
 was a member of Randolph
 American Legion Post No.
 181,
 He was a former employee
 of Borden Co, in Randolph;
 retiring in 1977.
 Surviving are his wife, the
 former Betty Cameron; three
 sons; Raymond Bowen of
 McHenry, Ill., Kirk and Scott
 Bowen of Randolph; two
 grandchildren; a brother,
 Donald Bowen of Randolph
 and three half brothers: Erie,
 Robert and Harry Brown of
 Randolph. He was preceded
 in death by a sister, Dorothea
 Cooper, who died June 2,
 1977
 Funeral services were held
 Saturday in Hoitink Funeral
 Home, Randolph, with the
 Rev David Stanley, rector of
 GrafH Episcopal Church,
 officiating, Burial was in
 Randolph Cemetery where a
 military graveside service
 was conducted by Randolph
 American Legion.
 The family suggests that
 memorials may be made to the
 American Heart Association
 or to the American Cancer
 Society,
 Bearers were members of
 the Randolph American Le-
 gion: Lawrence Horton, Ben-
 jamin Aucoin, Harlow Brown,
 Donald Pitchford, James
 Seely, Burton West, Fred
