  Niagara Gazette - 5/19/1928 SANBORN, May 19.-Word was received here today of the death of Mrs. Cordelia Bower. 85 years old, formerly of this village, which occurred Thursday. May 17. a t the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Snyder, at Alden. N. Y. Funeral services will be held trom the home of the daughter on Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock with the Rev. Mr. Cartwright. pastor of the Alden Presbyterian church, officiating. Interment will be In the Pekin cemetery near hero and will probably take place about 3.30 o'clock on Snday. Mrs. Bower had been making her home, with her daughter at Alden for the past 15 years but for 26 years previous to this had been a resident of this village and was well known and highly respected throughout the Sanborn vicinity. She was t h e widow of Henry and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Snyder, of Alden. and Mrs. George Zink. of Allegheny, N.Y., one son. Lyle Bower, of this village, one sister. Mrs. Ellen Baker, of Lockport and five grandchildren.
