Timothy John Williams, lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 24, 2024. He was 72. He was born in Niagara Falls on September 29, 1951, a son of the late John L. and Gladys E. (Becker) Williams. Tim attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School and then attended NCCC and Niagara University.
In his younger years he was a professional accordion player and played with the Jimmy Mack Quartet. Tim worked at Union Carbide from February of 1979 until October of 1982, Stratcor U.S. Vanadium as head of finance from February of 1983 until December of 1993 and Johnson Rose Corporation as Controller from February 1995 until July of 2001 before beginning his career at Aero Instruments and Avionics in the Town of Wheatfield where he retired as President. He was longtime, devoted member of Forestview Church of God where he was on the board of directors and sang in the church choir and was a member of the Gospel Quartet, “The Redeemed”.
He is survived by his wife Michele (Gravelle) Williams and 5 children: Mark R. (Michele) Dixon, Jr., John P. Williams, Kimberly (Anthony) Navarolli, Kristen M. (Ray) Nowakowski and Lindsey J. Williams. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Sean Spencer, Gabriel Michele, Alexandra Nicole, Isabelle Caitlin, Amelia, Vivian, Charles and Evan and great-grandson Kaedence.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 3 to 7 P.M. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at Forestview Church of God, 1250 Saunders Settlement Road, Niagara Falls at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in Riverdale Cemetery in Lewiston
