On Saturday, June 12, the wedding
of Ida May, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
William Bowerman, of the Saunders
Settlement. Road, t o Harry Rigerman
of LaSalle was solemnized at the
home of the bride, the Rev. Paul Burt
officiating.
Yellow and whits decorations were
used throughout ths homs and ferns,
bridal wreathes and iris were banked
about the predlu where vows were
exchanged. Preceding the ceremony,
Mrs. Frederick Bowerman aang the
"Song of Ruth," by Gounod. Immediately
after the solo, at 4:30 p. m. the
birdai party approached to the strains
of ths Lohengrin bridal music played
by Misa Mina Mudge.
The bride, given In marriage by her
father, wore a gown of ailver white
taffeta with lace, and a wreath of
orange blossoms adorned h«r hair.
She carried a ahower bouquet of
brides' rosea Miss Salome Strauss
was maid of honor, wearing Frsncb
blue taffeta with spray of roses. She
also wore a wreath and hsr bouquet
was fssbloned of pink tea roses and
sweet peas. Little Phyllis Bowsrman
of Toronto preceded the bridal party
scatteringg daisies. J. Nelon Bower-
man attend the groom as best man.
Later dinner waa served to some
fifty guests. Twelve were seated at
the bridal table where yellow and.
white blossoms in a large silver bowl
formed the center piece. The groom's
gift to his bride was a chest of silver,
while the bride gave a bar pin.

and a dainty necklace to her flower
girl. The groom's gift to hia best
ma'n was a fountain pen.
After the dinner Mr. and Mrs. Rigerman
left for a abort trip into
Pennsylvania and the south, the bride
wearing a suit of navy blue Polret
twill with gray squirrel choaker and
hat to match. After July 1, they will
be at home at Somerset. Guests attended
from Casenovla, Toronto, Ont
Canton, Ohio and La Salle.
