Benjamin, 732 . Lockport-
Youngstown Road,
celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary at a
dinner party given by their
daughters Sunday at the Parkway
Ramada Inn.
The former Lossie Whitmire
anti Howard Benjamin were married
Aug. 27,1921, in this
city and were residents of the
Town of Niagara for 38 years,
living at 3004 Lockport Road.
Mr.Benjamin was a Town
Justice of the Peace for 12
years and trustee of Nevada
Avenue School. He retired
from Penn Central Company
as an engineer in January 1971
after 52 years employment.
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin aremembers
of the Niagara
United Presbyterian Church
and took part in a rededication
of their marriage, vows in
unison with other couples at a
recent church service.
Their daughters are Mrs.
Myrle Evans, at home, Mrs.
Earl (Audrey) Zinck, St.
Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs.
Arthur (Clara) Mayes,
Schenectady. They have five
grandchildren.
