Frank H, Jago Dies; Royalton Constable Active in Lodges
Frank H, Jago, Main St., Gasport, Town of Royalton constable who was active in fraternal organizations, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday (June 24, 1967) at the age of 60, Mr. Jago was born in Wolcottsville Feb 9, 1897, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Jago. A resident of the town all his life, he lived in Gasport for 44 years. On Oct. 3, 1936 he married the former Mahala Robinson, who survives. He had been employed in the tool room at Harrison Radiator Division, General Motors Corp., Lockport for the past seven years. Mr. Jago was a member of the Gasport IOOF Lodge 407,Gasport Masonic Lodge 787, F&AM; Gasport Home Rebekah Lodge 263; Medina Encampment; and Gasport Chemical Hose Co. Besides Mrs. Jago, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Rook, Medina, and Mrs. Nancy Bowes, Lockport; four sisters, Mrs. John Lindke, Clarence, Mrs. Fred Lindke, Wolcottsville, Mrs. Gilbert Richardson, Lockport, and Mrs. John Goodnick, Middleport; A brother John, Medina and a grandson. Friends may call at Bream Funeral Home, Main St., Gasport, today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 where funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10. The Rev. Austin B. Cheswell will officiate. Burial will be in Orangeport Cemetery. Members of the Gasport IOOF Lodge will assemble this evening for services at 9:45, and the Gasport Masonic Lodge will gather at the same time tomorrow evening for Masonic services.
