at a surprise reception on Sunday
afternoon in honor of the 59th
wedding anniverary of Mrs.
Seward's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Roy Bowers of Barker.
The table, covered with a lace
cloth, was centered with an appropriately
decorated sheet cake
and yellow roses in white and
gold vases. Mr. and Mrs. Bowers
wore matching boutonniere and
corsage of golden yellow sweetheart
roses to complement their
attire.
Mrs. Clare Foss of Lyndonville
and Miss Meryl Walker, Hartland,
cut and served the cakes. Mrs.
Lee Seward and Mrs. Eugene
Mandaville, both of Hartland
poured coffee, tea and punch
Mr. and Mrs. Bowers greeted
friends and relatives from Lyn
donville. Barker, Olcott, Newfane,
Lockport, Hamburg, Port Colborn,
Middleport and Hartland
