- Cheryl Lynn Bowers-Lillybridge was born in Newfane to Richard and Carol Bowers who raised her along with her brothers Jeff and Alan.
As a child, Cheryl loved horses. In her early forties her childhood dream came true as she found her first horse and would spend the next several years enjoying this passion.
In 1985, Cheryl joined the military where she met a special man, named Damon, in Europe. They were married in Denmark and from there Cheryl would spend the rest of her life loving Damon and he loving her.
In 1982 Cheryl graduated from Royhart High School and in 1988 would graduate with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from D'Youville University. She became an extraordinary nurse who will be remembered by many as she helped deliver their babies, provided guidance to mothers in their homes, and gave high quality care to those in the wound clinic.
One of Cheryl's joys was being a mother to Shauni, Cara and Damon Jr. Cheryl found tremendous purpose in being with her grandchildren, Lilly and Molly.
Cheryl brought joy, peace, empathy, conveyed a light and she knew Jesus. In the years to follow without her physical presence, we will carry her heart in all we do.
