- Gerald L. “Jerry” Stevens, 61, of Youngstown, NY, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 in Northgate Health Care Facility. Born on September 2, 1957 in Lewiston, NY, he was the son of the late Harold and Erma (Frantz) Stevens.
Mr. Stevens lived in Niagara falls most of his life and the last 17 years in Youngstown. Jerry proudly served in the United States Army from September 8, 1975 until his honorable discharge on September 22, 1977 and completed his reserve obligation on September 7, 1981. He was employed as a truck driver for Modern Disposal. Mr. Stevens was an avid football fan.
Mr. Stevens is survived by children, David (Jessica Gresham) Stevens, Gerald L. “Gerry” (Heather) Stevens, II and Angel Stevens; a grandchild, Shilo Stevens; siblings, James (Lisa) Stevens, Stanley (Karen) Wills, Daniel Stevens, Michael (Wendy) Stevens, Michael (Ruth Paonessa) Reagle, Linda (Ron) Schatzel, Bessie Ann (Gary) Losel and Tracey (Tom) Maloney; his former spouse, Susan Stevens and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Jerry was predeceased by a brother, Harold (late Debbie) Stevens.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 19th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 NOON, with a funeral service at 12:00 NOON, all to take place in the funeral chapel. Interment will follow, privately with his family, in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R.
