- Rosalie A. Bowman 90, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Williamsville, NY. Born in Batavia, NY she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Josephine (Viscuso) Cosimano.
On September 17, 1949, Rosalie married LaVern A. “Lefty” Bowman at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Bowman predeceased her on November 25, 2015. Rosalie was employed at Voyager Custom Products in Sanborn, NY as a line embroiderer, retiring in 2010. Rosalie loved to laugh and sing. In addition, she enjoyed cooking and making Christmas cookies. Her greatest joy was cherishing the time spent with her family.
Rosalie is survived by her three children; LaVern A. (Martha) Bowman, III, Kevin Bowman (Kelly Walck) and Cyndi (Dominic) Luna; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Duane) Jacobs, Kelli (Mathew Gomesky) Luna, Michael Luna and Andrea (Ricky) DeFino; her great-grandchildren, Zachary and Lauren Jacobs, Brody Gomesky, Brianna Luna, and the late Louis DeFino, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband of 66 years, Rosalie was predeceased by her brothers, Angelo (Mary) Cosimano and Thomas (Joann) Cosimano.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13 from 11 – 1 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will follow at 1 PM. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. If desired, memorial offerings in Rosalie’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
