  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 6/28/1962 One of Lockport's oldest citizens d;ed Wednesday, five months short of her 100th birthday. Mrs. Mary Heintz Boye, 99, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Otto W. Kandt, 256 Willow St., after a short illness. Born in Germany on Nov. 16, 1862, Mrs. Boye came to this country in 1882. Her family settled first in Lancaster and then moved to a farm on the Coomer Road, Newfane, before coming to Lockport in 1904. She was the daughter of Christian and Maria Niece Heintz. Ever since then, Mrs. Boye had lived in various houses, but always on Willow Street. Mrs. Boye was the oldest member of the English Lutheran Church and a former member of many organizations within t h e church. The widow of Henry Boye who died in 1935, Mrs. Boye Is survived bv one son, Edward H. Boye of Buffalo; two daughters, Mrs Kandt and Miss Emma F. Boye of Rochester; seven grandchildren; 14 great - grandchildren; several nieces and a nephew. She was the mother of the late John C Frank J., Victor R. and Albert J. Boye. Friends may call at the Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., beginning at 7 p.m. today, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Private funeral services conducted by the Rev. Robert Heffner of the First English Lutheran Church will be held at the funeral home Saturday. Mrs. Boye will be buried in Wright's Corners Cemetery.
