Funeral services will be Friday
afternoon at 2 o'clock in Prudden
& Kandt Funeral Home, 141 Gene-
see St., for Otto W. Kandt, 67,
who died unexpectedly Tuesday
(Nov. 6, 1956).
The Rev. Ernest E. Heuer, pas-
tor of Trinity Lutheran Church,
and the Rev. Herman E.. Meier,
former pastor, will officiate. Bu-
rial will be in Trinity Lutheran
Cemetery.
Mr. Kandt was a former mem-
ber of the Board of Directors of
the YMCA; a member and past
director of the Erie-Niagara Fu-
neral Directors Assn.; a member
Trinity Men's Club; a member of
the Lutheran Laymen's League;
and treasurer of the City Bowling
Assn.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Mary Boye Kandt; two sons, Walter
A. and Karl W., both of Lockport;
one daughter, Mrs. Walter
C. Hanson, Mouston. Wis.; two
sisters, Mrs. Harold W. Henning,
Orlando, Fla.; and Mrs. Harold J.
Meier, Lockport; one brother. Edward
W., Lockport; eight grandchildren;
and several nieces and
nephews.
