John Frederick Boyer of Burt, NY, husband of Juanita Brandt Boyer entered into rest on March 20, 2025, at home. He was born on February 14, 1939, son of the late George Ivan Boyer and Helen Singer Boyer.
Fred served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a machinist and a tool and die maker at Harrison Radiator and also worked at Bell Aerospace Co. He enjoyed bowling, euchre, playing the harmonica, drawing, old cars and engines, Wallys diner for lunch and loved Olcott and its history.
Father of Linda Boyer Forbes, Daniel I.(Kristin Schultz) Boyer, Andrew S. Boyer and the late Lisa M. Boyer. Grandfather of David (Ashley) Forbes, Nichole (Jamie Marinaccio) Schultz, Bailey Boyer, Abby Boyer, Colby Boyer and Gracie Boyer. Great grandfather of Ellie Forbes, Quinn Forbes and Maci Marinaccio. Brother of the late Donna M. Barron. Uncle of Darlene Manhardt, Tina Foley and Debbie Barron. No prior visitation. A private graveside service will be held in Wrights Corners Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
