  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 4/16/1963 A retired supervisor of the Harrison Radiator Division, Gen- eral Motors Corp.,, Walter C.. Boy- er, 75, of 5638 West Main St.,, Ol- cott, died Sunday (April 14, 1963) in Mount View Hospital following a long illness. He had been an employe at Harrisonn's for nine years and had retired in 1955 as a supervisor. He previously worked as a sales- man for 27 years with the Merritt Engineering Co. Mr. Boyer would have celebrated his 76th birthday Thursday. He was born at the Rapids, son of Frederick and Laura Leimbach Boyer on April 18, 1887. He was a member of the Lockport Aerie 825, FOE and the G-9 Club at Harrison's. Surviving are his widow, Edith Overend Boyer; one son, Vernon Boyer of Olcott; four grandchildren and two great - grandchildren. Friends may call at Pruddin and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Rev. Phillip Mitchell, pastor of the Olcott Methodst Church, will officiate at a funeral service Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Wright's Corners Cemetery.
