  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 7/6/1936 The funeral of Fred O,-Boyer, 70, well known farmer of the Akron road, town of Lockport, who died suddenly at 11 o'clock Friday night In his home of an acute heart attack, was held at 8 o'clock this afternoon at the Prudden Funeral home, 242 Genesee street. The Rev. Ivan L. Lange of the First English Lutheran church officiated. Burial was in Chestnut Ridge cemetery. The bearers, all nephews, were: Walter Riley, Olenn Strlffler. Roy strifrier, Floyd Strlffler, Olenn Kinney and Roger Boyer. Mr. Boyer was born Aug. 27, 1865, son of Oeorge and Harriet Parker Boyer, in the town of Lockport, near Warren's corners, but had lived in the Akron road for the past 48 years. Surviving are his widow, Laura Lelnbftuch Boyer; one son, Walter Boyer of Olcott; ons daughter, Mrs. Charles lieeks of Lookport and four grandchildren.
