- VETERAN MACHINIST DIES IN HOSPITAL
NORTH TONAWANDA. July 26 - William C. Hagen. 68, of Niagara Falls Blvd.. Town of Wheatfield who worked his entire adult life for one company, died Monday afternoon in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Hagen had been employed for 50 years as machine operator of the Buffalo Bolt Company, retiring in 1948. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Nashville Fire Company. He is survived by his son, Ellwood W.. in the U. S. Army in Germany, who now is en route to his home: a daughter. Miss Isabel, at home; a brother, Julius; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Schuster and Mrs. Charles Diehl, all of the Town of Wheatfield. Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 8 o'clock in the Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam St., Tonawanda, and at 8:10 to St. John's Church. St Johnsburg. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
