One of the prettiest of the fall
weddings was solemnised Saturday
morning, October 28, a t 10 o'clock,
in Holy Trinity church, when Miss .
Lillian Staniszewski. daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Staniszewski,
of 2119 Ferry avenue and Mr. Anthony
Brodowiskl, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Frank LukaLsk, of 153 Eighth
avenue, Tonawanda, were united in
holy matrimony. The Rev. Francis
Waslk performed the ceremony.
The altar was decorated with white
pom-poms and palms.
Mr. Czosnyka, organist and musical
director of t h e church, gave an
organ recital during the seating of
the guests, playing a program especially
selected by t he bride.
The bridal party entered the
church to the music of t h e "Bridal
Chorus" from Lohengrin. The male
choir of North Tonawanda sang
three selections and Mrs. Sally
Young sang "Ave Maria."
The bride was beautifully gowned
In white taffeta designed along
Princess lines, with a Sweetheart
neckline, a bustle back and a long
train. Her tulle veil, which also
had a long train, fell from a crown
of a double row of orange blossoms.
She carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums,
from which fell
streamers of pom-poms.
Miss Jean Lukasik. sister of the
bridegroom, was maid of honor. She
wore orchid moire taffeta with a
full skirt and white accessories, and
carried a colonel bouquet of tea
roses and orchid pom-poms, offset
with chrysanthemum and orchid
streamers.
Mr. Edward Staniszewski. brother
of the bride, served as best man.
Other attendants of the bride
were her sister. Miss Helen Staniszewski;
the Misses Helen Zaczek
and Sophie Mis, Ann Wiechec, of
this city, and Miss Frances Lukasik.

Tonawanda. They were gowned in
changeable blue silver taffeta, with
Sweetheart necklines and full skirts.
Their colonial bouquets were of tea
roses and pink pom-poms with ,
chrysanthemum arjd pink streamers.
They wore pearls, a gift of the
bride. and matching flowers ln their
hair.
The ushers were Mr. Matt Ubowskl,
of this city, cousin of t h e bride;
Mr. Joseph Kraus. Mr. Edward
Galas, Mr Steve Brodowski, brother
of the bridegroom and Mr. Frank
Sarzyniak, of North Tonawanda.
Mrs. Staniszewski, mother of the
bride, and Mrs. Lukasik. mother of
the bridegroom, were dressed in
Each had a corsage of tea
roses and pom-poms.
A reception was given at the
Lincoln Hotel The table which
was set for 250 guests. was beautifully
decorated in pink and white and
centered with a four-tier wedding
cuke. The places of the bride and
prtxim were marked with a miniature
bride and groom.
Mr and Mrs Brodowaki are making
their home at 143 Eighth avenue.
