TUSCARORA RESERVATION - Arthur B. Smith,
78, of 5566 Walmore Road, died today (Nov. 16, 1967) at
his home after a long illness.

Church. A retired auto mechanic;and several nieces and nephews.
later was enrolled at the Carlisle,
Pa., Indian school, where
he was a classmate of the late
Jim Thorpe.
He had been employed as an
engineer with the former Model
City Canning" Co., Niagara Fals
Memorial Hospital and the
Tuscarora Indian School branch
of the Niagara-Wheatfield Central
- School District, retiring
from the latter position in 1962.
Mr. Smith was a member of
the Tuscarora Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife,
the former Frances Braddell;
four sons, Arthur Smith Jr.,
Town of Lewiston, Albert Setoff,
North Tonawanda, Her
bert Seeloff, Sanborn, and Robert
Seeloff, Niagara Falls; two
daughters, Mrs. Leo (Jeannine)
Henry and Miss Edna Seeloff,
both of the Town of Lewiston;
15 grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Pike
and Jones Funeral Home from
7 to 9 o'clock tonight and from
2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. oh Friday.
Services will be conducted at
3 p.m. Saturday at the Tuscarora
Baptist Church, lay minister
Perry Brown of the Tuscarora
Mission officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Hope
Cemetery.
