the bride's gown of Chantilly
lace over satin was fashioned;
with a fitted bodice. Sabrina neck-
line and long lace sleeves. Her
full skirt of alternate tiers of
Chantilly lace and crystal pleated
tulle termiated in a chapel-length
train. Her fintertip veil of illu-
sion was caught to a half-hat of
Chantilly lace accented in front
with finely pleated tulle, and
trimmed with pearls and sequins.
She carried a crescent - saped
bouquet of white roe and steph-
anotis, centered with a white or-
chid.
ATTENDED BY SISTER
Miss Rhea Kunkel, sister of the
bride, was gowned in lilac irri-
descent taffeta, princess style,
with aa empire waist The bod
lee featured a seeep neckline and
tiny eap sleeves. She were a
matching hat and carried a cascade
bouquet of talisman roses
and white carnations.
Mrs. John Gagliardi was matron
of honor, and bridesmaids
were the Misses Mary Ana Can-
aski and Marie Langdon. They
wore identical gowns to that of
the maid of honor ia aqua and
carried pink roses and white carnations.
Pamela W. Kunkel. cousin of
the bride, was flower girl. She
wore a Celeste dress of white organdy
having a bertha collar of
lace. She wore s headpiece of
. white organdy leaves and carried
a nosegay of pink sweetheart
roses.
Best man was Frederick Gailor.
and the ushers were Vincent
Lederhouse. Michael Lederhouse,
brothers of the bridegroom, and
John Gagliardi. Stephen Kunkel
was ring bearer.
BROWN, PURPLE DRESSES
The mother of the bride chose
a brown lace dress over beige taf-
feta with brown and green acces-
sories. Her corsage was of pink
roses. Mrs. Lederhouse wore a
purple lace dress with black acces-
sories, and a corsage of yellow
roses. Mrs.. Rhea Wallace, grand-
mother of the bride,, favored a pur-
ple crepe dress, black accessor-
ies and a corsage of pink roses..
A breakfast was served to the
members of the famiies and wed-
ding party at the American Le-
gion Post, where a reception to
400 guests was held from 7 to 10
o'clock in the evening. Mrs. Thom-
as Wheatley and Miss Lois Layer
acted as servers at the reception.
The bride's table was decorated
with the bridal bouquets and a
five-tiered wedding cake topped
by a miniature bride and bride-
groom. Rudy Coumont's orches-
tra provided music.

Lawrence L. Lederhouse passed away on December 20, 2014 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Lockport on May 1, 1931, he was the son of Jesse and Irene Lederhouse.
He served in the US Navy from 1951 to 1955 earning the National Defense Service Medal and sang in the navy choir. He worked for Harrison Radiator for 43 years where he was an oiler. Lawrence loved sports, playing baseball, basketball and bowling in high school and serving as team Captain, he also coached basketball at the YMCA, and he also liked watching his grandchildren play sports. He was known for his sense of humor, at Harrison Radiator he was a member of the Goofy Club, and affectionately called "Goofy Papa" by his family. Lawrence was a member of St. Mary's RC Church in Lockport, where he sang in the choir and was an usher.
Lawrence is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marcelene (Kunkel) Lederhouse of Lockport; father of Marc (late Paula) Lederhouse of Burt, Gerard (Wanda) Lederhouse of Medina, Garret (Jill) Lederhouse of Lockport, Stephanie (Larry) Hanel of Lockport, Janine Gately of Lockport, and Vanessa (Michael) McCrea of Memphis, NY; grandfather of eighteen and great-grandfather of two; brother of Mike (Marge) Lederhouse of Lockport, Ruth Odle of Medina, Pauline Perkins of Lockport, Rose Ferrara of Florida, Loretta Witt of New York, and the late Vincent Lederhouse, Harold Lederhouse. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday, December 22nd from 4-6 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 23rd at 1 PM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 or the Buffalo VAMC, 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215, would be appreciated by the family.
