Catherine was a retired Registered Nurse (emergency medicine) for Kaleida Health (DeGraff Memorial Hospital) for 35 years; after moving to North Carolina she was employed at Lincoln County Medical Center (ambulatory care). Catherine was predeceased by her husband James Thomas Thurlow. Catherine is survived by her children, Adam Forbes Thurlow and Sarah Elizabeth Thurlow, Fiancé of Michael Schultz, “Step-mom” to Kari Schultz and Lisa Schultz, Daughter of Dorothy Whitehead and the late Adam Whitehead, Sister of Teresa Losito (Bob Heaps), Michael Whitehead and the late Thomas Whitehead, Sister-in-law to Richard Thurlow and Donald Thurlow, Aunt to Joseph Losito, Erica Losito, Emma Mathian, Robert Thurlow (Kim Thurlow – Landon and Elise), Jared Butler, Andrew Thurlow, Katie Thurlow, “Grandma” to Pierce Emerson, and Special friend to Marcia Morton.
