Pink and white snapdragons and mums adorned the
altar of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church for
the marriage at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon of Miss
Janet Marie Frombgen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Frombgen of 195 Prospect St., and James R. Bil, son of
Mr. and Mrs. William Bil of of 210 Washburn St. The Rev.
Herbert L. Siegner officiated.
Given in marriage by her fa-
ther, the bride was exquisitely
gowned in fine Chantilly Lace. The
taut bodice and scoop neckline
with jewelled tiny lace flowers
was complimented with long
sleeves, and the very full skirt
fell over crinolines and terminal
ed in a chapel length train.
Her fingertip veil of French il-
lusion was caught to a lace clip
edged with pleated tulle and out
Lined with pearls. She earned a
cascade of white carnations and
roses.
MAID OF HONOR
Miss Mary Lou Frombgen at s
tended her sister as maid of hon-
or. Her gown of orchid silk and
Bomberg featured a fitted bodice
topped with a wide cuff neckline
that dipped in back to form a bow
and the waltz-length skirt was
worn over crinolines. She wore a
matching velvet clip with a face
veil and carried pink variegated
carnations with satin loops.
Similar ensembles in turquoise
were worn by the bridesmaids.
Mrs. Vincent Bennett, sister of
the groom, and Mrs. Betty Smith
of Newfane. Their bouquets were
of yellow carnations.
Edward O. Poole was best man
and ushering duties were per-
formed by Roger Bil, brother of
the groom and Edgar Tudor Jr.
Miss Alma G.. Waring, organist,
payed appropriate music before
the wedding and the traditional
wedding march for the proces0
sional. Mrs. George Meniger Jr.
was soloist before and during the
ceremony.
For her daughter's wedding,
Mrs. Frombgen selected a dress
of green and beige printed taffeta,
a yellow straw hat and black patent
leather shoes and purse. Mrs.
Bil chose gray Lace over rose taffeta,
with black accessories. Each
wore a corsage of pink camellias.
WEDDING RECEPTION
A reception to 300 was held at
the Elk's Club on East Avenue. A
tiered wedding cake centered the
table from which a buffet lunch-
eon was served.
When Mr. and Mrs. Bil left for
a two-week wedding trip to Flor-
ida, the bride wore a white ine
sheath with brown and black pol-
ka dots, a white straw hat and
patent leather purse and shoes. A
corage of yellow roses completed
her ensemble. The couple willl re-
side at 210 Washburn St.
Out-of-town guests were from
Buffalo, Olcott, Wilson, Gasport,,
Appleton and Newfane.
Both graduates of Lockport High
School, the bride was graduated
fromm Bryant and Stratton Business
Institute in Buffalo. The groom
served with the Air Force in Italy
during World War II.
Pre-nuptial parties included a
cocktail party given by Mr.. and
Mrs. Robert Degnan; a kitch
showeer by the maid of honor, and
the regearsal dinner given by the
groom's parents for the bridal par-
ty.
