LOCKPORT-William C. Wingrove, 64, of 121
Olcott St., died Friday (July 8, 1966). at Lockport Memorial
Hospital after a short illness.
He was a furnace heater
assistant at Simmonds Saw
and Steel Co. for 18 years
until his retirement.
Born March 9, 1902, in Falls
Creek, Pa.- he was the son
of the late Anthony and Matilda
Wingrove.
He is survived by his widow,
Mrs. Margaret Wingrove;
three stepdaughters, Mrs.
Harold Stolzenberg,. Burt,
Miss Connie James, at home,
and Mrs, Oscar Watkins, Masassas.
Va.; two stepsons,
John Foley. Los Angeles, and
Ralph Rice, New Mexico.
Also surviving are two
brothers, Robert Wingrove,
North Tonawanda, and Dale
Wingrove, Tonawanda, six
sisters, Mrs. Hazel Roush,
Mrs. Mary Markle, Mrs.
Elsie Van Norman, Mrs.
Myrtle Patton, Mrs. Pearl
Cunningham, and Mrs. Melda
McFadden, all of Pennsylvania.
S e v e r a l grandchildren,
nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be
conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday
at the Prudden & Kandt Funeral
Home by Rev. Gordop
Bender, Assembly of God
Church. Burial will be in Cold
Springs Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7-9
p.m. today and from 2-4 and
7-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
