William Hardy, thirty-six years old died this morning at his home at No. 43 Lincoln avenue after a brief illness with influenza and pneumonia. He is survived by his wife, parents, one brother, Edward Hardy of Buffalo. and one sister, Mrs. William G. Martin of North Tonawanda. The funeral will be private and will be held Thursday. Rev. Andrew Hits officiating. Burial will be in the Knoche cemetery, Town of Tonawanda. Hardy was a member ef the local branch of the Silk Weaver's Union. He had been employed by the Niagara and Van Raalte silk mills on Sweeney Street for the last thirteen years.
