- William E. Brass of Niagara Falls, New York
December 10, 1936 - July 9, 2025
William E. Brass, 88 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away after a brief illness at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Pops was born in Niagara Falls Ontario and moved to Niagara Falls NY as a teenager with his family. He later served as an amazing Veteran from 1960 until 1996 where he retired as a Brigadier General. He served in numerous companies and battalion staff positions
Along with serving in the Army National Guard, William also worked for Mooradian Rug Company, Brass Carpet Service, and Sears. Until a week before his passing, William was working at Home Depot where he worked for over 25 years. He often spoke of the many great people at Home Depot and cared about them like they were his own kids and grandkids.
Pops has earned many medals, achievements, certificates and even a letter from the President, but none of it mattered to Pops as much as his kids and grandkids. He was so proud of them all and loved them more than anything. Pops had a larger than life personality and always had a good long story to tell. He always loved helping people and always had a huge heart for Camp Good Days where he always donated in honor of his Mother Mary McLean Brass.
William is survived by his children; Paige Green (Charlie), William Brass (Stephanie), Georgia Littere (Daniel), Jeffery Brass, Peter Brass (Denise), and his grandkids; Tiffany, Noah, Joshua, Samantha, Billy, Sophia, Dr. Frank, Allison, Sierra, Rileigh, and Arianna along with his great grandkids; Aldous, Saoirse and Fiona. Pops or as they liked to call him Brass is also survived by his extended family in Albany NY, Makayla, Zach, Milly and Lilly, Paula, Heather and Eric. They were dear to his heart and always special to him.
There will be No Prior visitation. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Lane Funeral Home Inc.
