WOLCOTTSVILLE - Â Marian A. Brauen, formerly of Wolcottsville, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012 in Midland, TX. Mrs. Brauen was born in the Town of Royalton on February 5, 1923 daughter of the late Elmer and Rose (Koepsel) Weber. She had lived in Wolcottsville most of her life, moving to Texas in July of 2011. She was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville and its Altar Guild and she was also a member of the Wolcottsville Fire Company Auxiliary. She enjoyed her family and also she enjoyed making silk flowers. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Brauen in 1997; and by her siblings Helen Hoste, LaVerne "Shorty" Webber and Elton "Buddy" Weber. She is survived by two daughters, Marsha L. Brauen of North Potomac, MD and Karen (Richard) Shephard of Midland, TX; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville with the Rev. Bruce Donley officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
