Donald Douglas Krueger, Jr., 63, of Lockport, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the loving son of the late Donald Krueger, Sr. and Barbara (Hamilton) Krueger.
Don grew up working at his family's business, Krueger Pontiac located in Niagara Falls, NY. He then continued his career in property management and real estate. Don was a longtime, active member of the Elks Lodge #41in Lockport, NY, where he served as an officer and was head of the house committee. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and sailing, as well as cooking in his leisure time. Most of all, he will be remembered as a very generous and caring person who volunteered much of his time to local charities in the area.
In addition to his mother, Don is survived by his three siblings, Randy (Julie) Krueger of Grand Island, NY, Kimberley (Fred) Stotlemyer and Kurtis Krueger, both of Florida; one niece, Erica Krueger; and one nephew, Kyle Krueger; as well as several cousins.
There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 14th at 12 Noon in Holy Family Parish of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Private interment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY will be held at the convenience of the family.
