Wolcottsburg, Nov. 8-Mr. and
Mra William Brauer of this place
celebrated their golden anniversary
at the home of their son Fred Brauer
of North Tonawanda Sunday October

Ths house was attractively decorated
in yellow the table was adorned
with yellow chrysanthemums,
and a wedding cake.
The bride of 50 years ago was
gowned in blue silk faille, trimmed
with gold lace. The groom wore his
original wedding suit of black broadcloth
In tuxedo style.
Four Generations Present
Mr. and Mrs. Brauer have nine
children living, twenty five grand
children, and six great grand child-
ren.
The children who were preent to
extend their congratulations were
Messers Charles, Fred, Melvin and
Albert Brauer with their wives and
Meadames Minnie Heidenreich of
Cleveland, O. and Matilda Edmonds
of Rosburg, Ore. Mrs August
Schendel, Mrs. William Heiman and
their husbands and a sister of the
bride Mrs. Charles Hanson.
The grand children who attended
were Mr. and Mra Rohrlng, Mr. and
Mrs. HolHns, Joseph Heidenrelch,
Mr. and Mra Ertman Leonard, Chester,
Herbert, Richard Lorralnt, Marvin,
Evelyn and Everett Brauer and
Velma and Vernon Helman.
Guests From Far and Near
Other guests were, Miss Jeanstts
Ertman, Mr. and Mrs. Angenlne,
Mrs. Frank Linstedt, Mary Leaker,
Marcus Schendel, Isadora Leeds.
Mr. and Mra Brauer have lived
in this vicinity ths fifty years of
married life and received congratulations
from all their friends.
Mr. and Mrs Brauer have postponed
their Golden Wedding trip
until later on account of the visit
of their daughter, Mrs Edmonds of
Oregon.

Mr, and Mrs. Albert Brauer have
been entertaining her uncle and aunt
Mr. and Mra Edward Angevme of
Sodus Point.
Mra Charles Brauer and daughter
called on Mr. and Mra Melvln
Brauer,
Mr. and Mrs. August Schendel called
on her parents.
Mr. and Mra Fred Brauer and
children of N. Tonawanda, visited
their parents.
Mrs. Matilda Edmonds of Roseburg
Ore. is spending a few weeks
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
William Brauer.
Mr. and Mrs. William Helman entertained
at an old fashioned husking
bee.
The guests came from Buffalo and
husked about 150 bushel of corn on
the barn floor. A chicken dinner waa
served
